Wayne Rooney took a tumble in Manchester United’s 3-1 win over Preston North End, infuriating ‘Bad News’ Barrett the current WWE Intercontinental title holder to challenged him to a match.
How it all started..
‘Bad New’ Barrett who is a Preston North End fan went on a twitter rage about Rooney’s dive claiming that he would love to deliver his finisher “the bull hammer” on the England captain. Rooney then teased about taking on Barrett at Wrestlemania alongside Stone Cold Steve Austin. Steve Austin then made jokes about Rooney’s hairline.
